Some Ways To Drive Down Ottawa Granite Countertops

The sink hole.  No, not a geographical event, but the actual hole that will need to be cut for your sink.  The more complex “holes” can actually run you a few hundred dollars more than a basic Ottawa granite “cut-out.”

Demolition man.  Tearing out your old kitchen countertops on your own and disposing of them yourself can save you several hundreds of dollars.  Plus – it can be fun!

Prep your cabinets.  Once you have the old countertops out, make sure the surface (your cabinets that will hold your Ottawa granite is level.  This requires you are handy – but it will save you on installation costs.

Pay attention to the edge. There are several different choices you will have for edge treatments – and simply put, the plainer you get, the more affordable the Ottawa granite edges are.
